For its first research seminar of the season, IMC² had the honor of welcoming Professor Benoit Baudry from the Université de Montréal. He delivered a captivating presentation on a topic of paramount importance: the challenges related to software supply chain security.

For its May research seminar, IMC² had the pleasure of hosting Emmanuel Calvet, Systems Architect at Numana, for an insightful presentation on the resilience of networks in the face of quantum technology.

Thanks to the Cybereco organizing committee’s hard work, this fourth edition was a great success ! IMC²‘s booth was the perfect place to hold tons of great conversations. See you next year !

For its April 2024 ‘Cyber Monday,’ IMC² had the pleasure of welcoming Nicolas Vermeys, Director of the Centre for Public Law Research (CRDP), Deputy Director of the Cyberjustice Laboratory, and Professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Montreal (not to mention a member of the IMC² Management Committee!).  His presentation was the occasion for very interesting exchanges and will certainly lead to a follow-up session!

For its March 2024 ‘Cyber Mondays’ research seminar, IMC² was delighted to welcome Professor Ettore Merlo for an enlightening presentation delving into the analysis of malicious source codes from phishing kits.

A great turnout for this ‘Cyber Monday’ in February 2024 for an excellent seminar on cyber insurance by Martin Boyer, a professor in the Department of Finance at HEC Montréal and a member of the Board of Directors of IMC². Prof. Boyer effectively conveyed key insights from his work in this rapidly evolving field with great enthusiasm.

We had the pleasure of welcoming Gabriela Nicolescu, full professor and director of the Department of Computer Engineering and Software Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal, as part of the IMC²‘s monthly research seminar for January 2024. Her presentation on the cybersecurity of avionics systems was captivating!

Presented as part of the cybersecurity awareness month, this inaugural seminar hosted by IMC² was a great success! Co-inventor of quantum teleportation and a professor at the Université de Montréal for nearly 35 years, Prof. Brassard delivered an engaging seminar on quantum, a topic of major significance in the field of cybersecurity.
